Most of us here in the Beantown area tend to agree, We charge at the
Prudential
via a 6-50 and most of us in clubs use the RV plug~ NEMA 14-50

I forgot CA does do the earthquake thingy quite often and to unplug fast
is an excellent idea.

you do by writing comments to NFPA/NEC Quincy MA
They get ideas from all of us.

Again , an execllent idea. I am trying to get out local electric light
and water dept
to install a couple of designated charging areas. They said it must be
lit for safety reasons at night.
>Why? We are EVs not the disabled. This makes no sense.
So again I could use a little light at night.
>Are the people writing these codes, funded to stop EVs?
It sure seems like it and I bet it be funded by the big three.

Is that law still on the books?

A standard is something that most people will use and adopt!
When someone comes to Maynard, Harvard, or Bellingham here in MA
you can expect a 14-50, or an Anderson 50 amp or maybe an SB 175 amp
connector
to fill your EV
Till the Electric company figures out some of us are using the XFMR on
the electric
pole as my transformer? and using a duodiode for positive and the
neutral as negative, then the code book will be rewritten again!!!!
New charging port in Stow MA, NEMA 14-30/50 September first. Marble Hill
Farms.
