RE: Woodburn - an alternate view

IMHO, the junior dragsters demonstrated that by running their races
on a strict schedule there was *more* time for spectators to wander
the pits and view their vehicles.

I whole-heartedly agree that free access to the pit areas is an
important part of this event, but so is the drag racing.

I think a schedule that saw 20-30minutes of steady EV drag action
followed by a 1hr charging/repair break during which spectators could
safely wander the pits, repeated 3-4 times during the course of the day
would benefit spectator and racer alike.

Cheers,

Roger.

While I agree with the latter comment, I do not agree with running the
races on a strict schedule, unless it allows time for spectators to come
back to the pits/charging areas and see the vehicles up close. That, in
my humble opinion, is what these events are all about.
