New EV Legislation???

I'm still converting my S-10 to "leaded fuel only" (Trojans 125s)...
but after failing emissions testing today in my 'temporary' vehicle, I
have a thought:

New EV 'incentive'

"Given that an individual is converting a vehicle to electric, his/her
'temporary vehicle' shall be exempt from emissions testing; for
dumping his money into his/her EV conversion is much more far-sighted
and environmentally friendly than spending that same amount to keep an
old beater ICE on the road."

Push back my EV completion date! It's time to fix an ICE for good old
Uncle Sam!

Sincerely,
Mr. EV conversion on a college-guy's budget.

"Ask not what you can do for your country; ask what
your government is doing to you." -- Joseph Sobran
