Brand new, from Ford.  Sounds likely that it is the Delphi lead acids as
the NiMH was apparently a short lived option.  So between being PbA and
being not broken in yet, perhaps the range they reported makes some
sense. But perhaps a bad match to the users - high mileage drivers.
