I agree, very much! but would add a few details.

triple voltage: 115/208/230 (or 120/208/240...)
- designed for on-board installation: reasonably dirt-proof, controls
and display on remote panel for dashboard mounting
- ability to gracefully be shut down and unplugged in the middle of the
charge (i.e. opportunity charging), without just yanking the plug and
watching the arc.
