synopsis of EV spot on NBC show "Jesse"

Jesse's car (VW Beetle, ICE) breaks down.

She is given a ride home by a few co-workers who carpool in an
electric vehicle, an EV+... or should I say "the car formerly known as
the EV+?"

The owner talks it up and how he will not have to worry about breaking
down like her ICE did. "You know how much I spend on spark plugs?
Zilch." etc...

Come the next day, she can no longer get a ride from him... because he
FORGOT TO PLUG IT IN!!! Wham!, the bad PR begins!

So the storyline progresses without another mention of EVs until the
very last scene. As Jesse is about to carpool once again in the EV,
she accidentally scrapes the car door, leaving a big streak. They pull
away in the EV+ and that was the end of it.
