Re: Sprag Clutches



Are you using this in a "dry" application or immersed in oil?

It's my (limited) understanding that the roller type of clutch has limited
speed and torque capabilities, while the sprag type is better suited to
high torques and high overrun speeds.

Unfortunately, many the sprag clutches that I've found need to be operated
in oil.
