I did some research in this area also and Paul is correct but the
difference is not great. The T-875 weighs 3% more and gives 6%-7% less
total energy depending on the discharge rate. The biggest difference is the
cycle life where the T-105 is rated 16% higher. The T-105 costs less.
Nothing beats the T-105 (and maybe US 2200) for economy. But if your
limited by weight carrying capacity, the 8v batteries are often the most
economical way to increase your performance. The 8v  T-890 will probably
give better range than the T-105 but you pay even more.

61 lbs. T-105 @100 amps = 134.31ah x 6v = 805.86 kwh

63 lbs. T-875 @75 amps = 95.0 ah x 8v = 760.0 kwh

So because of the small added weight and lower kwh, you might lose 10% at
most in range but you have almost 33% more power. Some people would prefer
the economy, others performance.
