Kostov Reliability?
I'm getting ready to purchase a motor/controller combination for my EV
conversion ('85 Honda CRX). I am currently thinking about a Kostov 12KW
motor and a SEM3 controller, to get regen. Before I buy the motor I'd like
to hear from anyone that has used a Kostov in a daily commute car. I'm a bit
concerned about the reliability of a motor from the eastern block. I know
they are used extensively in racers, but racers don't have a daily duty
cycle. I don't intend to race I just want a reliable motor for a commute
car.
