------Original Message------
Thanks for the help Bruce, but I can't keep up with all your
addresses!
--

Perhaps this will help you all know why I send from different email
addresses.

I always state one address in my trailer BruceDP@iname.com
The iname account can be re-directed to wherever I am. Thus, I am
not locked into one physical location or server to have my email
connectivity.

Many email hosts get problems and are no longer useful until they
resolve their issues. Whether it is way too many hits for their
server to handle, it is late at night and they are down, etc.

Thus, the many messages I receive every single day always get to me,
because I have the flexibility to use different email hosts.

The problem is, people still have 'old' habits/thinking.

If you had caller ID on your phone, and I called you from a pay phone,
do you keep that pay phone telephone number as the phone number to
call me?

No, that would be silly. But, people do that (just hit reply).

If I give my telephone number, that is the number I expect to be
called at.

If I give you my email address, that is the address I expect to be
mailed at.

This may be a 'new' concept to some, but is a common practice in my
neck of the cyber woods.
