Dennis "Kilowatt" Berube's New EV Record
I know you've already heard of Dennis breaking into the 8's but in order
to be an official record you have to have two runs within 1%. As your ET
drops that 1% gets to be a very small number. Dennis went to Speed World in
Phoenix, Arizona last Saturday night and amazed the fans by not doing two
runs within the 1% rule, but four! The new "official world record is 8.861
seconds at 147.121 MPH. This consistency shows the skill and diligence of
this most competative EV drag racer. My hat is off to you Dennis.
