Actually, these products sound BETTER than Glyptol.
When you spray windings, don't put it on too thick. Thick paint acts as a
thermal insulator and makes the windings run hot.
I would suggest putting a thin coat over everything except the brushes
themselves and the part of the brush holder that the brushes slide into.
Paint the electrical connection areas and bus bars after assembly with a
small brush. Paint the inside of the end-bell. Make sure that blobs of
paint don't alter the fit of the brush holder in the end-bell. Mask off the
area on the end-bell where the bearing slips in.
