Check the archives from the power-assist list at cyclery.com.  Some folks
have written to the manufacturers, all of the responses were NOT to use
these controllers on bicycles.

RC controllers are not designed to be operated for more than a few minutes
at a time.  They can handle fairly high currents, but only briefly.  Your 75
amp controller is probably only designed to handle 75 amps for a second
maybe two, just long enough to spin up a prop.

I guessing here, but I doubt it can handle more than 20 amps and then only
for 5-10 minutes (maybe less).

Personally I think you'd be better off spending $35 and buying  a 24V
controller from:
http://members.tripod.com/~divelec/hbridge.html
These are designed for small EVs and can handle 35Amps continuous.

Of course as always, I could be wrong.  If you do decide to try the RC
controller please let us know how it works.
