Re: another newbe question
+ Could someone give me a couple of good basic book titles and authors
+ to help me get a good start. Thanks Charlie
Here are three fairly common ones...
"Convert It" by Michael P. Brown, with Shari Prange
126 pages, paperback, pictures and diagrams
step-by-step conversion manual
"Build Your Own Electric Vehicle" by Bob Brant
310 pages, paperback, pictures and diagrams
step-by-step conversion manual
in-depth history on EVs and advantages of EVs
"Battery Book One: Lead Acid Traction Batteries"
written by the staff of Curtis Instruments, Inc.
72 pages, paperback, data, charts, diagrams
analyzing the lead acid battery...
its chemistry, charging, optimizing, etc.
Most of our well-known EV parts suppliers carry these books.
"I hope if dogs ever take over the world, and they chose
a king, they don't just go by size, because I bet there
are some Chihuahuas with some good ideas." -- Jack Handey
