Re: EAA: Electrolyte recirculation

The are subject to a stratification of electrolyte density
over time. Gravity forces the electrolyte to slowly work it's way
down and with aging, there is likely to be a small loss of fluid
as well. The solution can be as simple as occasionally running a
charge cycle with your car upside down. If that's not convenient :)
you can always take the batteries out of the car. One time when I
had removed all of the Optimas from my car, I stored them inverted
for a couple of weeks. I don't know if it helped, but it certainly
didn't hurt. I have heard, I think from Bill Dube', that seasoned
Optimas that are cycled upside down experience a noticable increase
in capacity.
