Charger Queston

	Hi All

I'm moving up in voltage from 144v to 192v and was thinking of using the
NG3 charger, when Jan (another club member) asked why not go to 216v and
use two 108v Lester chargers which I can get almost for Free. The car has
Optima YT with Rudman regs and a T-Rex controller.

The question is, am I looking for trouble here or will the Rudman regs
tame the charger enough to protect my YT investment, I plan on this being
an offbord charger. The timer boards are questionable, should I replace the
boards, repair them or just connect a timer to the chargers and shut them
off after 4 to 6 hours or just let them run all night. I'm all for
recycling older equipment for newer uses (reads, saving money), I have been
using a variac as my on board charger, its a lot of work using a variac but
I learned a lot about the way batteries act.
