Re: battery boxes (was - Re: Quick Curtis question)



We have the batteries sitting on a slice of rubber and the tops are coated 
with a rubbery spray. Realistically we're not going to take the batteries out 
now unless we have absolutely no other option with the amount of time we have 
remaining to make the car move and function prorerly. I'm going to agree with 
Mason on the fact that we would want to keep the batteries and all parts in a 
contained box. Then if we had acid leaking out of the box it would go on to 
our belly pan and made a whole big mess of things to clean up (and believe me 
I'm not taking that thing off unless I drop something really important down 
there).
