CARB workshop #2 ...

I got up at 5am, on the highway by 6am, arrived
35 miles later by 7:40am to find a couple of EVs
already there.

I got plugged in right away in anticipation that
others will need more of charge and I will be
moved/bumped.

A lot of suits and ties were there, but not much media.
The formal PR announcement occurred on time

The EV drivers held their posters stating to save the
mandate http://geocities.com/brucedp/000531-024.jpg

After the quicky PR speech, all adjourned to the
Auditorium

Again the sides divided, (from the rear)

The auditorium was packed. People had to stand in the
back to listen to all the speakers. A few pro EV
speakers were allowed first.

Basically, "we like EVs, we want them, none are
available, we can't get them, automakers: make more"

Costco spokes person stated how they felt good
about their EV installations. 'We don't advertise. This
is a perfect marriage or PR and consumer responsiveness,
being sensitive to the community needs. We are in a
perfect position to offer EV charging. We are near a
highway, we are everywhere, and it is good for our business
too.'

The Warner Bros. Spokeswoman stated 'we want them, we
can't get them, automakers stop talking and make more'.

Then the Automaker's were give time to speak. Ken Stewart
(sharp/slick looking manager appearance) stated, 'we tried
to sell/lease them, but nobody wanted them'.

Honda stated 'We make a great EV, but nobody wanted them'.

...
I had to take a break. I guess I didn't want to hear any
more lies from the automakers, and got up.

But, I will have to dive in again soon. I just thought
you would apprieciate me popping my head up for a few
words before I go back.

Besides, since I had to get up early, I will need to crash
early, so I thought I would POST this now.
