Hi Mark,
I hope my teletype drawing is understandable. The 10 ga. wire is only
handling the imbalance of currant which should only be a few amps. Keep
the 2/0 cable pairs that connect one buddy pair to the next the same length
to help the ballance. Only the top and bottom cables that connect the
strings need to be large. They should be as short as possable, of equal
length and cables that connect to the pack should come from opposite
strings. (see how top cable goes to the right and the bottom cable goes to
the left) This keeps things as balanced as possable by equalizing the
cable voltage drops.
