Bear in mind that the Ural is a clone of a 40's vintage BMW built from
designs the Russians "liberated" from the Germans at the end of WWII.
The Ural is considered by many to be an assembled kit, or a project bike.
Most owners that I know of, or have heard about, more or less take the
new bike completely apart and rebuild it.  This really is a case of
"You get what you pay for."
