How about a combination of a couple ideas that have resurfaced on the list
recently?
Someone mentioned using the waste heat from the motor to heat the car, then
it was pointed out that breathing the carbon dust and ozone from the motor
wasn't very pleasant. How about ducting the waste heat from the
motor/controller past the cold side of the Peltiers?
This would give you more heat than the motor produces without the bothersome
smells and probably better efficiency than resistive heaters.
Darn it, Peltiers are cool (pun intended) there has to be SOMETHING useful
we can do with them.
