Are these the same batteries that I completely murdered in less than 150
cycles?? If so. they are NOT a good idea for ANY EV that
sucks more than about 150 amps. Humm NOT for me. Been there done that. I
remeber the sinking feeling watching the cell seperators float to the
top of the acid. Felt floating in the H2SO4, not good. I had twin stacks
at 48 volts and a 2000 amp controller. Still not enough grunt for fun. I
can extract more power from 72 volts of Optimas that 144 volts of these
batteries. Come on show up to a Autocross. At the end of the day those
with Optimas, or hawkers, will have the smiles.
