International Fuel Cells, part of Fortune. Global 500 company United
Technologies. Corp., has joined the public-private California Fuel Cell
Partnership in West Sacramento.
The partnership includes six major car manufacturers, four oil
companies, fuel cell company Ballard Power Systems and government
agencies. They want to deliver vehicles made by big automakers and
powered by fuel cells for testing and demonstration in California this
fall.
International Fuel Cells makes fuel cells for cars and buses. It's
supplying some to Hyundai, which recently joined the partnership.
