Well if they are inferior to lead-acid for long-range EVs then I'm
not so interested anyway.  If someone here manages to get them cheap
then maybe I would buy a few anyhow for some other purpose, if I can
think of one.  Trouble is, lead acid would be better for power backup
applications too, because NiCads don't like to be charged too much.
