Prius owner please test this, was RE: Prius comments

Another Prius observation. I had the air conditioning on,
and was sitting in a drive through, waiting. The transmission
was in 'D', and my foot on the brake. The motor turned off
after some number of seconds. The wait ended up being
pretty long, and suddenly, the motor sprang to life to satisfy
the air conditioning need. I recall thinking, good thing my
foot was on the brake.

I was wondering if a Prius owner would conduct a test.
If your foot isn't on the brake, and the transmission is
still in 'D', will the motor restart to satisfy the air conditioning
need, and if so, will the car move forward?

This could be a hazardous behaviour, if it does move forward.
