Obscene Woodburn Drags T-shirt gets customer ousted (SOT)
Hi all, I just got a phone call from Dennis Berube on his way to
Firebird Raceway to go drag racing and attempt a new record as
always. He stopped by the Native American owned Gilla River Casino
where he proceeded to drop fifty bucks. He was wearing this years
Woodburn Drags T-shirt which proudly displayed this years motto for
the excessive use of amperes especially during launch. He was told
that they did not allow the display of foul language on T-shirts so
Dennis in his "Suck Amps" T-shirt was shown the door. Rodders have
always had their slang and EV Rodders are no exception. In fact if he
had said I'm going to suck down this soda and be out of here I'm sure
he wouldn't have been accused of vulgarity. I've seen Hot Rod
T-shirts with a cartooned car with a massive Gimmy 671 Blower on top
with the statement "I'd rather be blown than injected". I have never
heard of someone getting thrown out of a place because of this
sentiment. Maybe he was just "whining" about loosing fifty dollars
and they just used the T-shirt as an excuse :-)
