Ignorance should always be forgiven, it is curable.  Intentional stupidity, 
on the other hand, is terminal.  :^)

The EV List is the place for EV questions and answers, even if all the 
answers don't always match.   Sometime it takes some patience to get the 
answer you can use.

Despite the wealth of knowledge and experience here on the list, in the end 
everyone needs to fall back on books.  I try to read everything on EVs I can 
turn up.  Relying on the List alone for answers is a good way to miss the 
simple stuff.  Old hands don't mention some stuff because it never occurs to 
them that someone may be unaware of them.  Nothing beats plain old book 
learnin'.  The 'net is great, but all the answers are not out there.
