Thanks, I should have been more explicit. My commute is only 25 miles (50
round trip). Based on prior postings, I am looking for double my commute
in 80% dod. Does that change things?

Ever since 9th grade when I saw the Ford Synraycer kick major bootie in
the Pentax world solar challenge in 1989 (or was that 1988???), I have
always dreamt of building my own ev. It's all worthwhile and I won't be
disappointed if the first go-round is not perfect. All of the planets are
just about aligned, hence I am in a position to finally start building
one.
Thanks,
