Electric Pinto Conversion

Hi folks,

I recieved this inquiry today, and as I am not familiar with any factory
Pinto conversions, I thought I would ask the list. I have deleted his email
address from this message, as I don't have permission to post it, but I will
forward all replies to him.

Thanks,

I have a 1974 Ford Pinto that appears to have been converted when it was
new.
There is a sticker on the windshield from Missouri and the motor was built
by
Peerless Electric in Kansas. This would lead me to believe the car was built
in that area because of the gas crisis. The workmanship would indicate that
the car was professionally built or possibly built by an engineering school
if any info is avaiable I would appreciate hearing from you
