PVs on EVs- 45 sqft

Speaking of PVs, can any experienced PV person out there tell me, off the top 
of your head, the answer to this:

Given a "standard" conversion of my VW single cab (140 volts or so)
and given that I have 45 sq ft of flat surface in the bed to cover with the 
latest high efficiency solar panels, how much of a charge could I expect, if 
the panels are in full sun (though parallel to the ground) during an 8 hour 
work day period?
Would it be worth the cost?  I guess that's almost an idealogical question...
