That sounds really good.  Do use a torque converter or some other kind of 
pump?  How do you plan to "train" it to be in the right gear?  Enquiring 
minds...you know...

That was "The Demented One", Damon Crockett with his DCP Blue Bomb RX-7.

The series/parallel switching will work good for John. A two or three speed, 
air shifted Lenco or a OD unit like I have would work better.

There is a big difference between 336V and 144V.  I don't know of anyone else 
in the SC/A class for John to race against.  He is in competition with the 
clock.  His goal is to be in the high 12s at over 100 mph.  My goal for the 
D'7 is to run 15.3XX or at least set a new record for SC/E class at Las Vegas.

ps. Richard, my brother-in-law and his family live in Las Vegas. It is just 
too hot and crowded there too. It would be nice to have your power situation 
though.
