I eliminated the torque converter, front pump, and stator shaft support. I
kept the pump housing and welded two brass fittings to the pump housing to
connect an external pump that I got from Grangers and used a small DC motor
to run the pump, I connected the pump circuit through a relay to the brake
lamp switch so when I'm stopped at a traffic light the pump isn't running.

As for the training, I have a late model valve body for the trans that
use's a PWM solenoid to control the governor pressure which controls which
gear your in, using road speed and motor speed as inputs, and/or other
inputs, throttle position, pack voltage, amp draw, rabbit-turtle switch on
the dash. I'm hoping this will make it forget that an ICE is suppose to be
pushing it around. But this project is on hold tell summer, it needs to be
in the 90's before it's warm enough to work out in the garage :)
