Interesting you should say that. Not too long ago on NPR, I heard a bit of
news about used trucks in towns near the Mexican border. If I recall
correctly, trucks are selling like hotcakes in Mexico. I guess they can
buy a $3000 truck here and sell it for $6000 in Mexico. I believe there is
some restriction going into place soon that makes it much more difficult
to import used trucks.
There is a lot more to the story, but I heard it a few months back. Some
of it fades over time :-)

Somewhere on NPR's website you'll find the original story. I guess it's a
pretty big deal.
Have you considered looking up North? The family is considering what to do
on vacation this summer. If you find something in this area we might be
willing to drive it down to Austin, enjoying the sights along the way.
