As soon as the male mold is done, pic's taken and
hopefully someone will help me put up a web site next
week. Pic's should be ready next sunday.
Spec's are 700 lbs less battery pack. Battery pack
can weigh up to 1000 lbs. 56 inches high, 60 in wide,
136 in long, Cd .22?, Gull wing doors, 200 lb cargo or
up to 600 lb if passenger side is used , Direct drive
gates polychain, Motor, controller and batteries owner
choice. Top speed up to 100 mph, range up to 150
miles+ depending on options. Base is 65 mph, 70 miles.

I talked to Rick Doran a while ago and he
mentioned that driving a low car in traffic was nerve
wracking. I or you could go 10 mph faster with the
lower car body on the same power but for me the safety
of a 48 inch high eye level, between a normal car and
a minivan, is worth it. On the road see and be seen is
the most important safety factor.

It's not that hard, just build 2, one to learn
on and the other for the car. Material for a
nonstructural body is under $200, cheap enough to make
a practice one. Use formica to make the mold with wax
rounding the joints. This saves a lot of finish work
if flat surfaces are what you need.

The torsion bar which is independent also. It
weighs 165 lbs but gives you steering, brakes, speedo
and foward crash protection that just bolts in.
Handling with this unit is excellent, better that 99%
of cars, as I found out on my first 3 wheeler.
I believe the Doran's molds are for sale if
anyone's interested.
