Re: Hawker Batteries

Mike,
I'm on the other side of the hill from you in San Jose.
I'm fairly new to all this. I'm building a VW based EV now and will need batteries in the near future. My plan was to use US2200 (t125). They are 225 amp hours. I see people talk about Hawkers all the time but 38ah? Would you your just parallel them out to get the current? I see on their web site that they are rated at 10hr not 20hr but I coundn't find a 38ah battery. Do you have a model #?

thanks,
Steve

from out of state, and shipping would cost as much as the batteries. We
need to find someone who can pick them up in the San Francisco Bay
area--SOON--as they are living in a friend's race car trailer, and he will
want to use it when racing season opens.

Doesn't anyone in the SF area want to adopt a cute, cuddly litter of batteries?
