Hi Rich,

Glad to hear everything is mostly OK.

Welcome to the 7.0 club! And, we will give you honorary membership in the 
Cement Surfers Club. I heard that the quake measured 7.0 on the "moment" 
scale, which is supposedly more accurate for big quakes.

I am a vetran of the 1965, 6.9 quake in Tacoma and the 1989, 7.1 quake in San 
Jose. I did some surfing on cement in 1989.
