I Have installed a DCP 300 a year ago. Kind of unit you install and forget
it... YES, it is built for an EV use . It's giving its maximum output when I
need it most wich is in cold wheater operation with fan at third speed,
whiper or all lights on. Voltage is going down to battery voltage only at
the stop lights with brake applied( 12 to 12.5 volts...not the previous 10
to 11 volts !!!) . Who care, not me? I recommend this unit 100 %.
Proffessionnally built, ready to install and be quiet to put only a small 12
Volts battery with it.
