RE: Was "Who Elected", now How to best power EVs

This is actually a costly way to generate electricity. I once
estimated the cost of getting to work in different ways. Walking
was one of the most expensive. It takes about 110 calories to walk
a mile. That is about one carton of yogurt, which is about $0.60.
Although sometimes we feel that our diets have a much higher cost per
calorie, one can just go out and buy one 3000 calorie box of bacon
for $2.00. This works out to about $0.07 per mile, still kind of
high. But, the EV costed more than either, per mile.
