About 2 years ago someone posts a link to DOT or DOE's website that showed a
study on how much power it took for different vehicles to go 50 mph. As I
recall the numbers varied froom about 8 hp to about 12 hp depending on size
of car, type of transmission, etc.
15kW for a kitten seems like lot to me, but I don't have any direct
experience with a vehicle that size.
