Re: Can you construct a fuel cell car?

Teoman....

Listen, the early fuel cells will be tanked hydrogen, that will last about
two-maybe three years, but afterwards forget it.....the Zinc/Air fuel cell is
all around better performance, price and refueling.

Want to make a fuel cell right now? at home? ok .....grab a D battery, open up
and lose the innards, chop up the zinc wrapper, not the steel outer, then put
the Zinc on the folded thick napkin.....now, mix up a 30% solution of potassium
hydroxide, Red Devil lye should work, soak the napkin folding over your Zn pile,
soak another folded napkin and starting measuring about 1.23V

that was fun wasn't it???

The future of fuel cells will / should be, quick and easy fuel changes, no
pressure tanks to worry about, and inexpensive fuel.....about same as cheap
gas.....
