Boy that brings back memories.  On my first EV I used a metal bracket to
bolt the motor to the frame lug for the rear brake caliper.  When the torque
bent the bracket I added two big monster zip ties (3/8" wide) to pull the
motor to the bike frame.  Rather stunning demonstration of torque when the
zip ties immediately broke.
