Re: Auranthenic questions
<<A friend of mine just gave me most of an Aurenthetic Ebike. It's pretty rough
and the motor and wheels are missing.
I am going to get it working one way or another, and I'd prefer to restore
it to original.>>
After riding mine around close to "original", I'd vote for an update - the contactors
run one battery for 12V and both for 24V, so they get imbalanced easily. You might want to
either find a way to parallel on the 12V setting, or install a real (pwm) controller.
<<Does anyone know where to find parts and information on these things?
A websearch showed a couple of pictures and one for sale, as well as a post
on the list from 1998. I'm sure there must be more somewhere.
Also, in trying to search the list archives, I could only search the current
month. What am I doing wrong?>>
Probably nothing - the search capabilities aren't the best. I've dismantled and
"remantled" mine, so let me know what info you need.
