RE: LIVE WOODBURN WEBCAST FREE!!!!! (was: Woodburn Electric Drags, August 25th!)
I'm definitely interested, but I wouldn't mind watching it as a downloadable
video afterwards (i.e. not live). In fact, it very well could be that I have
to work during the event and couldn't watch the live feed anyway. But I am
interested :).

Subject: LIVE WOODBURN WEBCAST FREE!!!!! (was: Woodburn Electric Drags,
August 25th!)
I think I'll follow this individual's suggestion and make the offer to the
list again in more explicit terms...
Hi All,
I have some equipment I can use to do all day broadcasts of the Woodburn
event live on the internet on the 25th and 26th. The video will probably be
fairly jumpy - fit for watching on a dialup modem internet account - and I
can only support around 15 simultaneous viewers at a time. Also,
unfortunately (for me) the equipment includes a 2 foot by three foot
satellite dish that is going to be tricky getting through airport terminals
or will require me to drive from San Diego to Woodburn and back to transport
it. Needless to say, I would rather not drag the thing all the way up there
if there would only be a couple viewers at any one time watching the feed.
So what I'm looking for is a general statement of interest from the list on
watching the event on the internet. If enough people really want this and
there are no objections, I'll make it happen.
