Damaged wheel cylinders that cannot be replaced are a common problem for
antique and classic car buffs. If you check the adds in the enthusiast
magazines you will find ads for folks who can put stainless steel sleeves in
your wheel cylinders, not only repairing the problem but preventing its
return. The rubber parts can probably be replaced on an individual basis.
Your local NAPA should be able to match them. If you do locate a good
replacement number please let me know and I will add it to the parts
interchange file on the C-Car egroup:
