Oops, sorry if I gave the impression it was currently a regen setup.  It's a
standard series wound motor/controller, the one that GE was supplying to a
lot of the universities back in '94-'95 for electric vehicle racing.

My point was that if I need a new controller anyways, I might as well get
one that has regen (if it works with my setup).

I have almost the same motor, mine is a 5BT1346B50 20.9 HP at 4707 RPM, I
can't make out the volts (one of the cables is in the way) but it's at 184
Amps.  Max RPM is 6500.
