Yup I know that.
there is implied risk here. My stuff is going to be aLOT safer than a
Bad boy and a Variac. Adequate protection and common sense is a must.
As I have said OEM orders will make me head to UL. But I have to run
before I fly.
I am sure this EV market doesn't want me to drop a few hundred grand on
doing the UL, and then passing the costs along to the first Dozzen
customers.
By the Way folks I have DONE UL spec inverters. I am NOT a babe in the
woods on this.
Every turn of the Power stage PCB will get me closer to UL specs. Until
my clients ask for LESS power, they will be sternly warned that my stuff
will outperform most. Wire to what you want to draw. Set the Darn amp
throttle knob to a safe level. On an 30amp circuit, you will be fine.
The protection Gear IS UL approved, Both the output fuse and it's holder
and the Potter Brumfield input Breaker switch.
Meeting UL is easy, if you only use UL listed components. THIS has been
done as best as can be.
I have to go calibrate my Amp knob...to My specs right now. I am sure a
lot of you hope I can't tell the difference between 15 and 25.
