DC/DC Converter

I'm trying to get the A/C of my conversion-in-progress working, and
have been looking at motors to run a compressor with. I may have
found something useable, which can produce 1.5 - 2 HP at 24v and can
run up to 36v. Now the difficult part. Does anybody make a 1200 -
1500 watt DC/DC convertor? At 24v, that would be 50 amps minimum. 36v
would need about 35 amps. Is anything like this made, and if so,
where can I get one, and what to they tend to cost?

My setup of choice would be 1.5 HP at 24v, simply because I wouldn't
have to force-ventilate the motor.

Thanks, all!

little pickles at you?"

"..No."

"Why am I the only person that has that dream?"
