Re: DC/DC Converter

<<I'm trying to get the A/C of my conversion-in-progress working, and
have been looking at motors to run a compressor with. I may have
found something useable, which can produce 1.5 - 2 HP at 24v and can
run up to 36v. Now the difficult part. Does anybody make a 1200 -
1500 watt DC/DC convertor? At 24v, that would be 50 amps minimum.>>

Should be easier to use a DC motor at pack voltage - www.sciplus.com says their 2hp treadmill
motor runs 6000 rpm on 8.3 amps of 230VDC power - item 33408 if anyone is interested.
