I was at my daughter, Pam's, when I sent the message on her computer.  Does
the slot have to be in the end pieces (doughnut shaped sheetmetal)? And does
the slot have to be the full length of the tube?  Thank you for the
information.  You probably saved my contacts.  Tom Peterson
