When was last time you drove like this? Is it typical? You have to agree 
that judging EV1 in particular, and AC motors efficiency in general 
(that's what people's impression/conclusion *might* be) based on this 
kind of driving is wrong. I agree, driving 0-10 mph may get you in
single
digits efficiency, this is real. But some may get impression that 
something is wrong with EV1 or AC systems in principle.

Disclaimer: I don't have EV1, not trying to defend it and personally
don't 
care how efficient it is.
